Founder & Chief Executive Officer, MedReach Digital Health Innovation Ltd
John O. Giwa is a Registered Nurse, Digital Health Innovator, and healthcare entrepreneur with clinical experience spanning Nigeria and the United States.
He currently practices within the Neuro-Telemetry Unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, where he continues to gain firsthand experience in technology-enabled patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and modern healthcare delivery systems.
Driven by a deep passion for transforming healthcare access in Africa, John founded MedReach with the vision of building a physician-led digital healthcare ecosystem that connects patients with licensed doctors, nurses, pharmacies, laboratories, and coordinated healthcare services through one secure platform.
To further strengthen this mission, he is currently pursuing advanced graduate studies in Health Informatics at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, Pennsylvania, United States, with academic focus in healthcare data, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, interoperability, patient safety, and the future of connected care.
His work in digital health innovation has also received international recognition at the Health 2.0 Conference, reflecting his commitment to building globally relevant healthcare solutions for Africa.

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Former National President (2020–2021) of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, Dr. Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi has played an active role in shaping the clinical vision, governance structure, and professional direction of MedReach from the early stages of its development.
As Founding Chairman of the MedReach Clinical Advisory Council, he works closely with the MedReach leadership team in strengthening clinical governance, patient safety, provider verification standards, ethical compliance, and regulatory alignment with the realities of healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
With years of clinical practice, healthcare leadership, and national advocacy for doctors and healthcare professionals, Dr. Okhuaihesuyi brings strategic oversight, credibility, and physician-led leadership to MedReach’s mission of building a trusted digital healthcare ecosystem for Nigeria and Africa.
